My sincere sympathy to Paula, Fiona, Owen and all the Connolly family on the recent death of Martina. I worked with Martina in Bank of Ireland for a number of years and Martina was always considerate, kind and gracious. May Martina rest in peace.

I am very sorry to learn of Martina's passing. She was known to me from the Folk Group (circa 1988 to 1993) Sincere condolences to all the Connolly family, especially Owen who was a pal of mine too.

I must have been about 7 when I met Martina, when we were members of The Young Dublin Singers in St. Louis N.S. Rathmines. We continued our musical interests into High School, taking part in The Feis Ceol, learning the guitar (we worked our way through the Simon & Garfunkel songbook). I will always be grateful, not just for her friendship but for the friendship of her family. She fought the good fight and is now in the arms of the angels.
