It is with a heavy heart we in Tuam Fáilte Isteach offer our deepest sympathy to Martina’s husband Joe, beautiful daughters Nicole and Amy, parents Mattie and Eileen and all her siblings. Martina brought such a positive atmosphere to our weekly classes where she used her TEFL training to teach, encourage and brighten up the lives of many of our students, helping them with their communication struggles and brought sunshine into their lives. Though she was going through her own struggles she only thought of the other person. We, her fellow tutors loved her for her kind and gentle nature, her bravery and strength. She was an excellent teacher, a role model to us all. Getting to know her life outside our classes we discovered her deep love for her family and learned of her love for, theatre, singing and dancing, and some of us had even planned a singing group with Martina of course taking the helm. She made a lasting impression on us all, students and tutors, and we will endeavour to use all we have learned from her in our continued work. We will miss you very much dear Martina but you are forever in our hearts and you her family also.

I am so sorry to hear about Martina's passing, I worked with her at Failte Isteach in Tuam and she was always so happy and positive. All the students and tutors loved her and we had great laughs together, I will miss her dearly.
