Mary Ann (Maisie) Bannon

It is with shock and sadness I learned of Ann’s death. I knew her from the 70.s in Australia, and when she came home to Ireland we continued our friendship, I last spoke to her about Easter time this year and knew her health wasn’t good , may her gentle soul rest in peace, my sympathies to her family that she always spoke so highly of. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Great-aunt Maisie was always such a warm and calming presence. She was also generous, down-to-Earth, and very funny. Going back home to Ireland every year won't be the same without her and her infectious smile. Yet we are happy she is no longer suffering, and is now hopefully with granddad Paddy, who we also miss very much. Love always from Yvonne, Owen, and me in New York.
