I didn’t know Mary Anne but had the pleasure of meeting 2 of her daughters & her daughter in law at work today. We had a chat about her brother Tommy & her home in Lisdoonvarna. She was obviously a loving Mam & they should be proud to have cared for her at home. I will say a prayer for her. Rest in peace Mary Anne

Deepest condolences to all of Mary's children and extended family on your sad loss. I have fond memories of Summer's spent playing with Mary's grandchildren in the garden in Hillcrest when they came to visit her on their holidays. Mary's love for her family, zest for life and boundless energy never ceased to amaze me even in her later years whether going off in her car, swimming or playing bridge but she was always so active and outgoing. Mary had a great sense of humour accompanied by an even greater laugh!! I met Mary with her grandchild Lizzie a few months back in Lahinch taking in the sea air and enjoying every moment of the banter with my mother as they chatted about Lisdoonvarna and people they knew. Mary, you were a true inspiration of how to live your life to the fullest. May you rest in eternal peace.

As children on those long summer hoilidays, we had so much fun, wounderful memories of trips to fanore beach with a full car load of very noisy children and not a bother on her.
