I only heard today of the sad passing of Mary. Please accept my sincere condolences on her death. Although I have not lived in Dungarvan for some 56 years I remember her as if it was just yesterday.

So sorry we couldn't attend the funeral. Mary was such a lovely person who always thought of others before herself. She was always helpful and could always be counted on to know if anyone or family needed help in Dungarvan. She will be sadly missed by her entire family and the whole community. Her suffering is now ended and she is at peace. God rest her soul.

Dear Jenny, Clint, Louise, Philip, Raymond and Ita, grandchildren Izzy, Leo, Mary Kate, Emma, Lauren, Billy and all Mary’s sisters. How lucky we are to know and love Mary. We have so many memories of Mary but one of my stand out ones is when my mother died and Mary cycled to our home with the most thoughtful letter. Her beautiful hand writing on the personalised yellow door card, we will treasure it forever amongst all the other hand written notes and cards from Mary B. I think Fr Jim Curran summed it up when he thanked God for the gift of Mary. We will miss you so much Mary B. Go raibh míle maith agat xxxxxx
