Mary, you were one of a kind. Always lifted the spirits with a sing song I could be having the worst day in work and five minutes spent with you would turn the whole day around. Thinking of lovely Michael at this sad time it was a pleasure to witness the love and devotion you had for one another. May you rest in peace Mary x
Honoured to have been able over the past 30 years to make you smile, laugh and be yourself right to the very last moments ..
Liam, your nephew, appropriately concluded his eulogy by saying that every child should have a Mary in their life, I would go further and say that every adult would be blessed to count a Mary in theirs too. … you were a breath of fresh air, a determined, realistic, clever mind, with a wit to cut any situation to size but most of all, your were a kind, gentle soul, always prompt to break into song and make us smile.
You are missed but will live in our hearts and mind, sincere condolences to your devoted, loving husband Michael and all your family, rest in peace Mary and entertain the angels with your songs !

Our Mary,
She was a force to be reckoned with. Strong, funny and a wonderful singer. Always ready to burst into song.
I was honoured to have spent the last days of her life singing to her and playing her favourite music.🎶 we will all miss her singing Happy Birthday and Christmas carols to us. She was wonderful for that.
I hope we did Mary proud with a good send off. To her devoted husband Michael, thank you for looking after our sister.
Rest in Peace Mary.

Our sincere condolences to Michael, Pauline, Colette, Margaret and Bobby and all the extended Cumbers and Boland families on the sad loss of Mary. We have very fond memories of enjoying Mary's company on many happy nights in the hospitable Cumbers family home. Mary loved to chat with everyone and was so warm and kind with a great sense of humour and fun. She touched the lives of many who won't forget her.
