Dear Mary, Wishing you and your family my sincere condolences at this sad time. There is no right age or time to say goodbye to a parent. I have no doubt the pride and respect that was felt by your mum knowing your kindness to all your students, your love of your subject and your constant sense of fun in imparting your craft and talent to many Mount Anville students, myself included. These gifts you’ve passed on to many and no doubt you’ve passed on wisdom you were once taught too. I know you will catch glimpses of things said or done like your mother, that will remind you of her and through these acts by you and your own children your mum lives on.

Her passing saddened me as over a long period she was my partner at the Bridge Club here in Graiguenamanagh every Thursday night. It was a real privilege to have known her. She was a woman of kindness, consideration and her passing leaves me with great memories.
To Sean and the Walsh family accept my sincere sympathy. This is a difficult time and a sad occasion. One day we will meet again and then no more parting. Let us console ourselves with this promise of Jesus.
