I remember her well from school and then from her frequent visits to Legga, after she moved to the U.K. She was gentle, so friendly and genuine and always remembered her roots. So saddened to hear of Mary's passing. Mary was a class mate in Legga N.S. and subsequently in Convent of Mercy, Longford. She was a lovely, kind person and I'm sure her kindness shone through to her patients as she progressed in her nursing career in England.

Mary was my friend for my lifetime in Dromard,as we grew up we passed each others paths most days in our younger days.when you were a teenager you immigrated to London,”but you never forgot me”.Thank you for all your visits to me in Dromard in time of need.
