A FRIEND LIKE YOU.

I feel so blessed to have a friend like you,
When life feels a little heavy, you pull me through,
You support me in my struggles, there for my ups and downs,
Fill me with confidence and always fix my crown,
My therapist, Life coach, with you I share it all,
On the bad days and good days, You’re the person that I call,
Always there to listen, Never one to judge,
Our friendship is too special to ever hold a grudge,
We’ve shared many a laugh and shed many a tear,
Stuck by each others side year after year,
No competition, no jealousy, the love comes so naturally,
And I hope you know you mean the absolute world to me.

Xxxx
Mary
Our love for you
will always keep
it will never fade
it lies too deep

Mammy & Daddy

But that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
And days before that too
I think of you in silence

Look for me in Rainbows

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset, when all the world is through, Just look for me and love me, and l'll be close to you.
It won't be forever, the day will come and then My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.

Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment, and all your whole life through Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Just wish me to be near you, And l'Il be there with you.

Mary was an absolute gem. It was a pleasure to train with her as a midwife in the Coombe Hospital. We enjoyed many laughs together with our colleagues in the staff canteen, and also over a pint after a few Dubs match in Croker. We will never forget Mary's pure heart - she was so humble, honest, and kind to everyone. We send all our love and support to Mary's nearest & dearest. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Feel no guilt in laughter (Anon)

Feel no guilt in laughter, she knew how much you cared,
Feel no sorrow in that smile she is not there to share.
You cannot grieve forever; she wouldn’t want you to
She’d hope that you would carry on the way you always do.
So talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, with all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, or a word someone may say,
will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings her back so clearly as though she was still here,
That fills you with the feeling that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
As your mam, our lovely Mary, will live forever, locked safely in your heart.

Deepest condolences to Mary's husband, boys, stepdaughter, parents, siblings, and wider family at this heartbreaking time. Mary was one of the best midwives in the Coombe. Her exceptional skill, but also her extremely kind nature towards women and staff were what made Mary a midwife one would wish to aspire to be like. Her legacy will continue through the knowlege and skill that she imparted on next generation of midwives. Rest in peace.
Mary was simply the best. I was lucky enough to get to know her through many a night shift in the Coombe. To be around her and her amazing friend Colette was to know what a good midwife was. Her laugh and light and how much she supported me personally will be something I’m eternally grateful for. I cannot express how sorry I am to her husband, her gorgeous kids(whom she adored) her family and many friends and colleagues. Her loss is simply immeasurable. Thank you Mary for everything.
My heartfelt condolences to Ben, your sons, your parents, siblings, and close pals in the Coombe.

Mary’s loss to her family and the Coombe Hospital is unimaginable. My sincere condolences to all who loved and knew her .

Deepest sympathy’s to Mary’s husband, children, wider family and friends. It really was a privilege to have known Mary, albeit briefly, to learn from her and work with her. As a student and then junior midwife it felt like there was a huge safety net knowing Mary was on the same shift, one of the best yet most humble midwives I’ve ever known. She was a beautiful person, kind caring and also great fun. I’m sure her loss will devastate anyone who knew her.
