Very sorry to have just learned of Mary's passing. I first knew Mary when we lived in Springfield, Carrickmines. We both moved to Shankill in and around the same time. I used to meet her quite often around Shankill or in Dun Laoghaire. We'd always have a good chat. She will be sadly missed. My sympathies to Mary's family.

I wasn't told you were ill and passed away. You are now finally at peace. If I had being there mam, I would have held your hand, told you it was going to be ok. We would have told you that we would be there for the family. We would have had a chance to thank you for all your love and kindness. Thank you for leaving me with wonderful childhood memories and the memories of our travel to Israel. I will always treasure them. You will be missed by many but will live on in your children and grandchildren. You will be bright star in the sky every night for your granddaughter to see. May your life be celebrated at not just your funeral but every day: " Your loving daughter Issy, son-in-law Ben and granddaughter Deme x.
