MARY CLANCY

I was so sorry to hear of Mary's death. May she rest in peace. We worked together in Peru, South America. Mary was a wonderful nurse there, so kind to all. We had many a good chat on the phone at times afterwards about our time there and recalling memories of all those we lived and worked with there. Deepest sympathy to you Eileen and Jennifer and all extended family. I will remember you all in my prayers in your sad loss of Mary.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to all of Marys family on your very great loss. Mary and I did our midwifery training in GUH in the 80s. She was so deeply committed to her patients and such a good humoured work colleague. May her gentle soul rest in peace and look over you all during this very difficult time.

To the extended family of Mary. I was very saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. I worked with Mary as a paediatrician in Galway from 2004 to the year of her retirement. Infamous! Irreplaceable. A truly wonderful children’s nurse. The world is a sadder place without her. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Had the pleasure of working with Mary for many years in Paeds. She was an incredible nurse. Her love and passion for nursing, how she looked after babies and children everyday was so special. Our rooms were opposite each other in the Nurses home, many's a time, I took refuge with her, as one of the gang, loudly played, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet band, on my record player, or The River by Springsteen .We discussed everything, and nothing was off limits. All of the group of 1982 loved her, in our own different ways. A seriously sad loss, for us. Also I know there's siblings, and nieces and nephews who were very important to Mary, my Sincere condolences on the loss of your lovely Sister and Aunt.
