Carmel, ,Pauline ,Mary Ellen, and Mary Clare and they took me under their wings. I will never forget their kindness to me and i have gone back every year since and Mary Clare was always there. I will miss you this year but I will be thinking of you May she rest in peace...

I am very saddened to learn of the death of Mary Clare, whom I have known for over 40 years as a quiet, but important part of the MacGill team. We became friends and exchanged Christmas messages, she enquiring of my family. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís. Mary Clare epitomised Glenties for me.

We are saddened to learn of Mary Clare's death. We met her through the MacGill Summer School where she was a key member and supporter of Joe Mulholland and his team. She was always most welcoming and helpful. She will be missed greatly by the people of Glenties where she played an active role in the community and in the co-op.
