I am so sorry to read of Mary's death on the Clare Champion. Sincere sympathy to all her loved ones. She was a fantastic kind & generous lady always & cooked fabulous dinners of which I was often the recipient. Her likes will never be seen in Quin again.

Mary and family were a great support to us when we arrived in Quin more than forty years ago at a time when they were the ones who needed help following the death of John Joe. Deepest sympathy to the Brogan & Clune families. Mary was one in a million. She was warm, caring, hospitable & a great hostess always at the many parties in Newline. Her family & her siblings are the same. That was proven greatly by the large volume of people that turned out at her reposal Saturday & mass yesterday. I was speaking to someone visiting Quin for the weekend & they asked if there was a Fleadh Céoil on such were the crowds.
