I was very sorry to hear about Mary's death. She was a great person, who I met in the IGA context at a lecture in Belfield. I was happy to tell her then that, as a civil servant, I had the pleasure of working for her husband, George - a good and honorable man - in the 1970's.

Mary was a friend of my parents Gay & Éilis. I got to know her for a brief period around the time of my mother’s last illness, when Mary was so kind to her. It was such a pleasure to be in her company. My condolences to the Colley and Doolan families.

Mary was an incredibly active IGA Council member and was responsible for bringing joy to many of our members. She is fondly remembered by everyone here.
