My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mary's family. Mary was the most beautiful lady, with a huge personality. Many years ago, Edmund Rice Musical Society performed the famous musical ' Fiddler on the Roof'. Mary played the wonderful part of 'Golde' and I played Yente the Matchmaker. We were on the stage together quite a bit, which was great fun. In the following years, whenever we met, I was always her Yente, and Mary was my Golde. I will always cherish those wonderful memories. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

She made me feel very welcome when I joined Edmund Rice Choral Society. Shortly afterwards she had the members sign a Birthday card which I treasure....happy memories of a kind, gracious lady.
