My mother, Sheila often spoke about how much she idolised Mary growing up and how beautiful and glamorous she was. May she rest in peace.

It is strange that only yesterday (Monday) that I thought of Mary Cunneen. I came across a note and it reminded me of her and her joyful ways. She was always in good form though I do know that the last few years were difficult for her and her family.

I am grateful for all her work in the Parish of St Saviours over many long years and unknown to many. May she join the crew of the many who were associated with St Saviours and no doubt she will watch over those who are now associated with the parish and the Dominican church in Limerick,
