She and her mother Lena used to drive my Gran Aunts Mary Cullinan and Hannah Wall who both had pubs in O’Connell Street, to see their niece, my mother and us, perhaps once a year to outside Nenagh, quite a journey to go up and back on the one day on bad roads all those years ago.
