To all Mary’s family members,
Wishing you moments of peace and comfort, the gift of faith and the blessings of hope as you remember and thank God for the well lived life of grace and goodness that was Mary. The contributions she made to family , friends , neighbours and towards the betterment and enhancement of society in the good old town of Kanturk were significant and truly valued. My memories of both Dermot and Mary remain some of my fondest growing up on the Perceval St. of my youth. May you treasure the loving memories of your time together and the goodness and special nature of the unique person she was. We may all say “well done good and faithful servant”. You have earned your wings. Now rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the loving light of Jesus, as you reunite with your beloved Dermot in your new Heavenly home

Loving sympathy to Teresa, Joe, Claire, Pádraig& the Tierney& Deady families& friends, following Mary’s dad passing. A long loving life well lived. Her requiem Mass today was beautiful, prayerful& dignified. Claire’s eulogy was a gift of love to her much adored Aunt Mary. May she rest gently in peace.

Mrs and Mrs Deady ( never Mary and Dermot!) were such an integral part of my childhood in Kanturk and reading other notes , I am not alone. Their shop was quite magical as I grew up and their kindness and good humour are well remembered by all of my family.
It is sad to see Mary pass but hopefully she is now laughing with " Der".

Lovely childhood memories of going to Deadys shop. Mary and Dermot were always so friendly and kind. It was a great shop to find a special gift at Christmas time.

Sincere sympathy to Mary's family on her passing. Their shop was always the next stop for us after Sunday mass and the highlight of the week. 10 pence could buy a lot in those days - lucky bags, pink wafers, Foxes sweets, even a packet of chocolate biscuits. Then there was the block of HB ice cream (with wafers), cream and custard slices and even some toys, including model airplanes. They were always pleasant and helpful. May they both rest in peace.

Sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs Deady. I have lovely memories of their shop on Percival Street as a child and adult. We got to enjoy more chats at her front door many mornings up to recent times. RIP

Mary & Dermot had a bicycle made for two which was often used. Dermot gave great service to the Town Park over many years. May Mary & Dermot enjoy the light of heaven together

Some of my son"s fondest childhood memories are of visiting Percival Street to see Granny and Grandad ,Mags and Jack O’Connell—and the highlight of every trip was their excited run down to Deadys' shop for sweets. Mary and Dermot’s warm smiles and the little treats they gave us made those visits so special. Their kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew them.

Mary was a true lady, and her gentle presence will be deeply missed. May the love and memories you shared bring you comfort during this difficult time.
