Sincere condolences to all the Dorgan and Ruddy families on the passing of Mary.
She was such a beautiful person.
I played bridge against her on the charity days in Rushbrooke Tennis Club. She was indeed a formidable player.
May she rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Gareth Kieran and Finbarr. To Eimear Yvonne and Ali . To Mary’s adored Grandson’s. Mary spoke to lovingly of you all. She was a lovely friend. I worked with her in Radiology in CUH. She was always so helpful pleasant and kind to everyone.. May she rest in peace now with her beloved Barry.

Mary was a wonderful human being. I knew her a long time. She was wise, kind and had an immense sense of strength and calm about her. The last time I met her, she was heading to Fuerteventura. Barry had encouraged her to go, and for that reason, she was going to try it out anyway. She was telling me that she had wonderful daughters in law, and how her grandchildren would drop into her all the time for chats. Her boys would invite her to their homes for dinner and she would go no matter what. It’s heartbreaking to think that she must have got ill so soon after that. I didn’t know. I have fond memories as well of sailing out of Marlogue in early 2000’s. ‘ The Dorgans’ were a formidable team. It’s very difficult to have lost both Mary and Barry in such a short space of time. May they both rest in peace.

So very deeply saddened to hear that Mary had passed away. Having always known her from her wonderful shop I had the absolute pleasure of becoming her friend through our daily travels on the train to work.
After various retirements the 'train gang' kept up our meetings for a catch up meal two or three times a year with Mary keeping us entertained with her stories and wonderful laugh. She loved her family so deeply and was so proud of you all. She was a beautiful person and her loss will be hugely felt by you and all who knew her. Rest in peace Mary

I recall my mother popping into Mary's gift shop regularly when I was young. Mary was a truly genuine person, always so friendly with a smile and a chat for everyone she encountered. She will be fondly remembered by all.
