My sincere sympathy to the Miss Doyles family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I used to see her out and about most weeks in recent years. She had the most beautiful cursive hand writing, prepared us well for first Holy Communion and when she taught us music, she always made sure we were in tune, using her tuning fork to start us off. She was very creative and always made sure we were the best we could be. May she rest in peace.

I didn't know Mary but often saw her shopping in Carlow. I admired her sensible attire, always wore her hat and seemed to be prepared for the weather. She looked like a very independent, self sufficient woman and I hope she rests now in eternal peace after a long life well lived.
