Vincent, Bronagh, Feargal, Aine, Matt and Anita . So sorry for this untimely loss to you all. Always bubbly and always friendly this should not have been her time. Losing your young brother, Phillip and now your wife is tragic Vincent. In mourning, I hope you all can celebrate her life and remember all the good times. Take care everyone. RIP Mary.

I remembered this lovely bubbly lady from 20 odd years ago
When she had her shop juniors
She kitted out my boys for their first holy communions
And as babies and toddlers in the most beautiful clothes
She had exceptional taste and patience and always a joy to deal with a people's person to the core
When I seen her lovely smiling face on rip.ie I was shocked to say the least at her sudden passing
Such sad news indeed

I phoned Matt today (Nov. 14th) for a casual chat and was shocked and upset when Matt could barely inform me that Mary had passed away, Annette and Matt's beloved Cailín Ór.
We are very upset not to have been present at Mary's funeral mass.
We have known the O'Hanlon family for over 40yrs and have been very close friends over these years.
No words of ours can relieve your family's heartache but please know you are in our prayers and thoughts.
Our four children are equally upset on hearing of the passing of Mary and found it difficult to take it on board.

Dear Annette, Matt, Vincent and Mary's children and grandchildren, may I please extend my deepest sympathy and shock on hearing of Mary's passing. As a child the O'Hanlon family stayed at our "Bed & Breakfect" where they started as guests and then migrated to the most unbelievable family friends.

Matt and Annette's unbelievable generosity together with a genuine sense of fun remains to this day unmatched. These traits were the ones that Mary grew up with and further enhanced in her own life. We enjoyed many trips with the O'Hanlon's to Boatstrand with a world beating picnic and our return trips to Dundalk where the O'Hanlon family could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome in their home.

My heart is broken for the entire family and I hope your generosity is repaid somewhat in the knowledge that you are in our thoughts and prayers to help you through the pain in your hearts in the weeks and months ahead from the sad loss of Mary.
Mary may you rest in peace and it was a pleasure and privilege to have got to spend time with you and your wonderful family.
