Sincere sympathy to Jackie and family on the passing of your mother, may her soul rest in peace.
When I think of my sister May, I think first of kindness. She was the only girl among three brothers, and yet she carried herself with a strength, a grace, and a spirit that could soften even the rough edges around us boys.
When I was young I left home to find the world I was searching for. Whenever I returned home May was the one who opened her door and took me under her wing. Her house was always a place of welcome, a place where I felt at home, no matter how far I had roamed.
In my early twenties, I moved to Australia, half a world away. Though distance and years separated us, they never lessened the bond I had with May. She was always in my thoughts, often in my words, and forever in my heart.
Rest peacefully, May. You were dearly loved, and you always will be.

My deepest condolences to my childhood friend Jacqueline and to all the Lowry and Orr families at this very sad time on the loss of May.
Forever etched in my mind as caring and kind, she treated me like one of her own, Jackie and I played a lot in both Lowry households with George and Mary on the Main Street and in Station Rd, when the family moved from Scotland, a lot of wonderful memories of May a lovely lady rip.
