Thinking of you Mary, with love and fondness
(and gratitude for your great wisdom, which stretched across so many spheres).
I wish you so much peace and happiness in that great garden above.
May you rest in everlasting peace.

It was a pleasure to know Mary . Her love of life and enthusiasm were infectious .
Many a gardening lesson I received anytime I called and her love of nature was always evident .
A lady to her finger tips.
May she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to the family of Mary may she rest in peace
Deepest sympathies to Mary's family on her recent passing. As a neighbour we knew her over many years. She was always helpful, good for a laugh and very interested in local matters. May she rest in peace.
So sad to hear of Mary’s passing. She was a huge support to me when I set up my own business, she even helped me name it! She was a strong, kindhearted lady and will be remembered with a smile.
Mary has been a great loss to the Parish Community in recent years as her health was not as good, and deepest sympathies to Tom, and the family on her death.

Words such as 'dynamic', 'wholehearted', 'persistent', and 'excellent' all come to my mind considering Mary's monumental contribution to the Community Centre, its' Friendship Club, and the community in general. At the heart of it all, however was her terrific capacity to 'care', in the broadest sense: chairing 'Community Care', as it was then, was nearly a life's work in and of itself. Behind all of that, there was a tremendous faith, rooted in scripture and motivated by a need to act. Terence, and his assistance to the clergy in the Parish over many years, was also much appreciated and cherished.

One person said to me yesterday that they hoped there is a 'gin' in heaven for Mary. Her capacity to provide and entertain in her home was second to none. Many other humorous stories come to mind, mainly due to her sense of humour!

Leaba i measc na naomh duit Mary - you are going straight to the best place.

Liam
Sincere sympathy to Mary's family on her passing. Mary and I always got along well together and she made me very welcome when I came to Mount Merrion first. Rest in perfect peace Mary.
