Dear Brian - I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Please accept my deepest condolences; my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Im so sad to hear Mary has died and offer deep sympathy to all of her children, the extended family and of course to her sister Margot and brother Denis.

Mary and all her Cronin siblings formed such a clever, warm, loving family, with love of books, music and learning (bridge maybe) and also great capacity for talk and kindness. Love really. It really feels as if the world has being diminished by the passing of those of them who have died.

I regret not calling her when I always knew if I did that wed have a lovely chat. I do know though that she had all her beloved family around her.

She bore valiantly and warmly with visits from our family of eight staying in our caravette outside Rosario back in the 60s. How did those women manage catering for four adults, eleven children and for a while two elderly people?

My father also really valued the loving care she gave for years to Jerry and Maura, their parents. She was endlessly patient and kind.
