I was privileged to have known Mary in my role as School Chaplain in Stanhope Street Secondary School and I was always so impressed by her deep commitment to the students. Their welfare was always top of her agenda. Her lovely smile and good humour brightened our staff room and her words of wisdom commanded respect. No doubt her rich legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, her many students, colleagues and friends. May Mary now rest in the peace of her eternal home.

So so sorry for the loss of Miss Gorman. She was my teacher in Stanhope Street Seconday School. I have wonderful memories of a wonderful teacher who gave me a deep love of English poetry and reading. A lovely genteel lady. Rest in peace Miss Gorman.
