The Committee, staff, residents, day members and volunteers at Carnew Community Care were deeply saddened at the news of Mary’s passing. We extend our deepest condolences to Mary’s husband Vincent, daughter Katie and son Michael and also her extended family, friends neighbours and work colleagues. Mary was a wonderful community person who selflessly contributed her time and skills to helping many local organisations. In particular, we in Carnew Community Care recognise her work as a Network Ambassador for County Wicklow Network for Older People which sought to improve and enhance the quality of life for older people by engaging with them on matters which affected their daily lives. Her friendly and cheerful character made her an ideal person for this role. She was a devoted wife, mother, volunteer and community activist and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Mary.
