So sorry to learn of Mary's passing. Myself & Mary worked in the same department in RSA, 4 Marys altogether, for many years and Mary was very conscientious and meticulous in her work. We were delighted when Mary married Terry & we were there to celebrate her happiness. Mary was very kind & friendly and will be missed by all who knew her.

To Tom and Micheal, Mary's brothers, My sincere condolences, also cousin's and friends and bingo pals that were so good to her.
Mary in the fifteen years or so I knew you, You taught me kindness, How to love and be loved. You taught me patience "even tho I was a driving instructor for twelve years! I'm so going to miss our outings, going to bingo, the Ashleaf, Zoo for lunch and everything in between.
But most of all I will miss our long and amazing chats everyday!
Mary you were like a Mother to me and I'll never forget that, And will always have that with me and in my heart.
I'm sure your loving Turlough was waiting
at the gates of heven with a big smile.

So sad to hear of Mary's passing, I worked with Mary back in 1970s in the Phoenix Assurance Co. We kept in touch ever since. She was a really lovely lady. My sincere sympathy to Mary's brothers and extended family and friends. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

Our sincere sympathy to Nuala and Brian to all the Cahill and Halpin families on the passing of Mary. I met Mary on a few occasions when I was visiting my sister Nuala, she was always friendly and loved to chat. Rest in peace Mary with your beloved Turlough.

Mary and I came in contact over twenty years ago. I was doing some family history research and I reached out to her late Aunt Una who helped me and also put me in contact with Mary.
Helping me and providing me with history was no problem to Mary. She was only too happy to help me with the details and providing me lots of amazing old photos. Mary had collected information from relatives who had word of mouth research from their parents and grandparents. Without Mary’s treasure this information was lost. As lots of it was before church and civil records existed.
Mary was a very generous lady with her time and expense was never an issue. I recall meeting her and us getting together in Wynns Hotel for refreshments. Mary and Terry making the long journey to Daingean for my late Fathers funeral and joining me in my 50th birthday celebrations.
Mary’s friendship and kindness and a wealth to everyone who knew her. As she always spoke so highly of everyone, especially Barry and my late Aunt Cora.
There is going to be a great reunion in Heaven with all the ancestors, as the song goes. There is another angel around the crown tonight , and I am jealous of the angel.
Rest in peace Mary now reunited with several generations of The Roe and Cahill family.
You certainly have earned the best seat in Heaven.

Our sincere condolences to all of Mary's family at this very sad time. Never got the opportunity to meet Mary in person but felt we knew her from all the stories our cousin Barry related to us . Her generosity she showed to my mam Dolly was relentless her numerous Masses, Holy water, Medals and relics which were delivered down the motorway by Barry were greatly appreciated. Heaven has definitely gained an angel. Rest in eternal peace Mary.

Am greatly saddened to learn of Mary’s passing, she was an amazing person n we had many mammoth chats on the phone where she related stories down to the minutest detail, such was her power of recall.
Of course all the Roe Family are forever grateful to Mary for researching n compiling a comprehensive family history which she was so generous in sharing with everyone.
To her brothers Michael n Tom and extended family members may we extend our sincere n heartfelt condolences.
Finally to her Right Hand Man - Barry, you are one in a million, you ran errands, did shopping, brought in pizzas etc to Mary, helped her send photos via Whattsapp, wrote Christmas cards n posted them , brought her out to visit Turloughs n her parents graves n I’m sure many more jobs n errands to help Mary. She would have been lost without you. So our condolences to you too. May Mary now rest in eternal peace .

Thinking of all of Mary’s family and of course Barry at this very sad time. Mary was a lovey neighbour and so kind to our girls. We will miss our chats over the wall and phone. RIP
