So sorry to hear of Mary's death. I knew her back in 1958/59 when she joined the Vic Loving Show., and also worked with her in Newcastle co Down for the summer season.. RIP Mary

I grew up watching Mary perform in my Dad’s plays. She was an incredible actress, yet so unassuming. We always loved the play’s final night when Mary would stay in our house after the Torch players party. The chats were mighty and Mary would have the funniest entertaining stories for us. She had a great time for her family too.

A true character and friend to all our family.

We are so sorry to hear of Mary's death. We had the pleasure of performing with her in Torch productions, and others. Always a thorough professional - with a gift for ad-libs if necessary! We watched a repeat of Kilnaskully last Sunday and her talent for comedy and timing was superb.

I was very sorry to hear of Mary's death. I remember going to Irish dancing classes with her in Kilmallock . She also performed with Vic Loving travelling show when they performed in the hall in Bruff. Her talent was evident from a very young age. She was a very good friend of my aunt Nancy and Ber. Mary was a regular and cherished visitor to the Coughlan household at Ballycar Road over the years. When visiting Mam and Dad we would watch her coming across the road with great anticipation. Mary never just walked into the room - she always made an entrance. She brought joy and laughter with her and left everyone, both young and old, better than she found them and with a huge smile on their face.
