Aidan, Rob & Jill, I was shocked and so very sad to hear of Mary’s very untimely passing. She was such a lovely, kind and warm person and my memories of her go back to when the kids were all small in Schull and days spent on the water and at the beach! Aisling was only reminiscing recently about those times and what fun they had. When we met down the intervening years Mary always had time for a chat and would always ask after all the kids and how they were doing. Such a warm, genuine and generous Lady. May her gentle soul rest in peace and may ye all be comforted by the wonderful memories you have of a life shared with her. My heart is broken for you all

Absolutely heartbroken to hear about my friend of over 30 years leaving us so prematurely. Mary was one of the kindest most interesting (and interested) people I know. I remember when she introduced me to the Kino cinema back in the day - she was always up for the weird and wonderful cinematic experience - her love of animals was only exceeded by her love and pride for her family. Her love of travel cut short in this life - sending my deepest condolences to Aidan and all her extended family. You will be deeply missed
