Mary was so amazingly kind to me for so many years when I was a kid. Always fair, always feeding my bottomless pit, always providing fabric for Eleanor and I to create new dressing up outfits. As a mom now, I can really appreciate the time and resources she gave to us all. A wonderful woman and a tremendous loss. My heart goes out to Eleanor, Cathy and Malachite at this difficult time.

Although we only met occasionally, most recently at the 100th Birthday of Margaret, and later at her funeral, please accept my sincerest condolences on behalf of my wife Katharine (McAvoy) and all our extended family.
