Mary Hughes

I was deeply saddened to hear about Mary’s passing. While her loss is heart-wrenching, there is a bittersweet comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from suffering, probably having tea and biscuits and celebrating being home with her mom, dad, and all the aunts and uncles.
Mary was a truly beautiful soul, so kind and compassionate. She devoted herself to ensuring that those around her were well cared for, and her warmth touched the hearts of many. I will always cherish the special moments when she went out of her way to take me and my family to places that held meaning for us during our visits. Her gentle spirit and loving nature remind me so much of Aunty Theresa, and this quality made her so very special to all fortunate enough to have known and loved her. I was very fortunate to have met Mary many years ago and enjoyed an enduring friendship with Mary up to her illness. She was such a loyal kind generous gentle person .
