Kathleen, Patrick and Dominick you were so lucky to have had your mam in your lives for so long. Mary Jennings was one of life's treasures, when mam was sick your mam came in to look after us. Many's the night she frightened the life out of us with her ghost stories, but we loved them and her. She is now safe in the arms of Jesus having the rest she so truly deserves. May she rest in peace Amen.

Feel so bad as my condolences sent before I had finished as I wanted to give my wonderful uncle Albert a mention and say how happy he would be to see Aunty Mary finally arrive ! What a great reunion it will be. No doubt Uncle Albert will have a little beverage poured for Aunty Mary. As children we used to love so much visiting and felt so important when Uncle Albert asked us very seriously if we would like a coctail ! (We were so disappointed years later to discover that we had only been getting two lemonades mixed together!)hey were both such kind and welcoming people and we loved them so much. So lovely they are now reunited and I am sure my mum and dad Ted and Kathleen will be thrilled to be part of that wonderful celebration. Forever in our hearts. XX

She cared and respected everyone and made people feel important. She was a very genuine and authentic person. It was great to be able to participate in the funeral online. I always came away with a smile on my face after every visit.Missed seeing you so much Aunty Mary when Covid put a stop to our visits and very sadly puts a stop to saying a final goodbye. My Mum will be so happy to have you with her as will all your other siblings and your Mum and Dad . No doubt you will be asked" what kept you Mary ?" and you really did drag your heels! You definitely did earn the title THE CREEKING DOOR !

A trip home from Canada always included a visit with Mrs.Jennings. At her insistence and after many years, we called her Mary. We have written our last Christmas card to Mary. Our chats were always trips down memory lane about life on Mourne Road. Mary was our last link and now she is gone to join her neighbours and friends. We will miss her beautiful smile, her kindness and her soft Kilkenny accent. Rest In Peace dear friend. In our hearts forever.

I have lovely memories of Mary and Albert. They were both so kind to me when I arrived in Dublin from Co Sligo for my first job and they let me stay with them for a number of weeks in Mourne Road.

Poor aunty Mary and Uncle Albert never stood a chance with me.. we used to visit as a family and I used to invite myself to stay.. for days on end.. I loved my room in mourne rd.. we used to go shopping together.. look at all the photos..watch and criticise tv.. I loved cleaning... she always slagged me.. dont put your plate down..yer wan will have it up and washed (not any more aunty Mary) she was a rock in my life... i look on her as the grandmother we didn't have as aunty Mary's sister Margaret died when mum was only 2 yrs old..I cherish my memories.. I wish there were more.. this last year has robbed us.. sleep well my beloved precious beautiful aunty Mary.. I wish you could tell me to f off just once more.. love you loads.. enjoy the party with uncle Albert aunty Kathleen.. uncle Ted and all the gang... you above all deserve to have peace..
