Dear Audrey, John , KateAnn & Gerard I am so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of you lovely jolly Mom Mary. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. We also want to sympathise with her brothers Anthony & John & sisters Ann & Caitriona & extended Ryan & Kelly families.
I met Mary a few times at family gatherings or funerals over the years & she always was so interested in how everyone was doing . She was always so glamorous & full of fun . We exchanged Christmas every year and Mary always included a Calendar from the Donamon Centre in Roscommon. We both included a note about how the family were keeping. Will miss all of this . She will be greatly missed by anyone who knew her . May she find peace & rest after a life well lived . Thinking of you all & take care of each other . Your memories are locked away in your hearts always . ❤️❤️

Sincere condolences to John, Audrey,Kate Anne and Gerard on the death of your beautiful mother. She was such a lovely person to meet and chat. As the old saying goes, she had the gift of the gab !!!!!! She had lovely words for everyone. Her bike will be remembered by everyone, as one lady said to me since she passed ‘I didn’t know her name I knew her as the friendly lady on the bike’. Now I think the Garden City residents should get an old bike of hers and put it somewhere on the estate with Flowers 🌺 in it. Rest in peace Mary 🙏

Mary's mother Annie was my GodMother and I met Mary a number of times in Abbey. Always beautiful, and kind and thoughtful. A lovely lady. May she rest in peace. Sincere sympathies to Gerry and all of Mary's family. She will be sadly missed.

Its such a rarity now that people genuinely will stop and spend time asking how things are. And its a beautiful trait that Mary never changed, even if the world around her did. I hope the love you are feeling from everyone who has a story or a memory to share, gives you a little solace at this difficult time. She was loved by all, and she loved you all so much. I have the fondest of memories in your home and the warmth and care she showed. This warmth was still there after all these years. Anytime I met Mary she was the same person as I knew in the 1980's. I got to know Mary in Cushinstown Athletic Club many years ago and we would always have a chat when we met in Ashbourne and my last chat with her was earlier in the week before her passing which i will always remember.
