Just heard of Mary’s passing and am totally shocked - such a fun loving person . Condolence to all the family who she adored so much . We had many chats in Dsp Longford and exchanged many gardening tips . So sorry I missed the funeral . R.i.p Mary- you will be solely missed.

I knew Mary from art classes in Roscommon. When Mary was booked in for art week you knew you were in for a fun filled week. She was such a character. Full of stories and wit along with her great talent. Her sense of humour knew no bounds and she didn't hold back. Such a loss. My deepest condolences to Mick, Stuart, her daughter in law, adored grandson Mason and all her extended family on your huge loss. I will remember Mary with great fondness always. I remember her as a woman who knew her own mind, was fiercely independent, full of passion and energy and great fun to be around.

This quote came straight to mind when I think of her:

I have such vivid memories of spending time with her (and Michael) at Noel and Chris's in Dublin or down in Kildare and all the laughter, craic and chat that was inevitably involved.
