We were both members of Cork Historical and Archaeological Society and enjoyed many outings over a long time - Mary was always a jolly and pleasant person

Very sorry to hear about Mary’s passing and deepest condolences to all of her family. I had the pleasure of cutting Mary’s lawn and hedges. She was always very easygoing and generous making her a pleasure to visit. Unfortunately it was several weeks after the funeral before I had heard of the news. I would have loved to have gone to meet her family who she was always praising and telling stories about. I know it has been a few weeks now since her passing, but I hope this message will still be seen by Mary’s family.

Sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved aunt. As a relatively new neighbour I wanted to share how deeply her kindness, intellect, and vibrant spirit added to the community. Until recently, I would meet Mary regularly around Magazine Rd, and always a great conversation ensued. Very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Mary was a member of the Cork Geological Association for many years since it’s foundation in 1992. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by many. My condolences, and those of the wider Association, to Mary's family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
