We are heartbroken to hear of Mary’s passing. She wasn’t just our cousin’s nanny, she was everyone’s nanny. If we’re ever lucky enough to be nannies ourselves one day, we only hope we can be even a little bit like her, a true nanny to all.

Mary had a way of making everyone feel special. Her cheerful “Hiya hon” on the phone could lift any mood, and she was always just a call or text away. Always up for an event, always photo ready, always radiant. She brought light and warmth wherever she went.

She was the epitome of a lady, elegant, kind, graceful and had the gentlest, most generous heart. Her home was always open, and you didn’t need an invitation. That open door policy was just her nature, welcoming, comforting, and full of love.

Mary was beautiful inside and out. She gave love so freely, and her kindness left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know her. We both felt so loved by her, and we will carry that feeling with us always.

The world was better with her in it, and we’ll miss her more than words can say.
