I miss my good friend of many years ---a caring, thoughtful and fund loving woman who loved a good chat and meeting friends. Sadly the cruel disease on Motor Neuron took away her her ability to communicate or care for herself. Mary's courage during her illness was remarkable. She spoke with so much gratitude and love of her great neighbors who enabled her to stay home for so long. Thank you all -- it was so reassuring to know you were there for Mary. Condolences to you all and to the Lane extended family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I first got to know Mary many years ago
A lovely woman, full of humour, gentleness, generosity. She was so courageous in her terrible illness which gradually took everything from her. Such determination to live independently for so long. She was in my thoughts and prayers for so long and will remain alwsys with me. May she rest now in God"s loving arms.

We thank Jesus and His Blessed Mother, Mary, for having known Mary. She was special in every way. Mary led a truly Christian life. She was kind and considerate to others. The "carer" in Mary was always visible. Mary will be in our daily prayers until we meet her in Heaven. To her family and friends we all pray for the repose of Mary's soul. She is someone to pray to now, since she can do more for us here, in this valley of tears from her perch in Heaven. Thank you, Lord, for Mary Lane RIP.
