Anne,Mary,Deirdre and John. Condolences on the death of your lovely mother. I had the good fortune to stay in your house from 1969 to 1971 when i worked in the Milford area. I had the very best of home comforts with the lovely friendliness of your mother and all of you. It was home away from home .She put up with our antics late at night when we arrived home after a late night in the Hideaway. May she rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Sincerest condolences to the Lee/McFadden families and to all who knew and loved her well. If I recall correctly, she and Patsy Howard and my mother Dympna and others would be down playing badminton in the Milford Hall many moons ago.

When I (Gerry) became an employee of the Department of Agriculture in Donegal many years ago I was very fortunate to find top accommodation with Mrs Lee in her beautifully kept and comfortable bungalow on Convent Road Milford.

For me it really was a home from home where top class food was always presented in a timely manner and with a friendlies that is often in short supply in more expensive establishments.

Bringing up four children on her own, following the untimley death of her husband, Martin, was not an easy task. However, she just got on with life and took it all in her stride, never comlaining and always cheerful and with a positive outlook.

Patience, one of her great virtues cannot be forgotten. A guest coming it later than late after a dance banging doors and generally creating a disturbance never seemed to annoy her. Breakfast was served with the usual friendlies the following morning - just as if nothing had happened.

The life that she lived was an inspiration to many and hopefully she will now be rewarded with a high place in Heaven as a just reward for the wonderful life that she lived.

May Mary's gentle soul rest in peace.
