My heart is with you all during this incredibly difficult time. I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved mother, Mary. She was an absolute lady with a heart of gold, always ready with a chat and a smile that could light up a room. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was not only my daughter’s mother-in-law, but someone I came to value as a friend in her own right.

My late husband and I had visited her twice in Ireland where we were shown great Irish warmth and hospitality. They embraced us as part of the family right from the start.

Then Mary and her husband had visited us in Australia and went on various sightseeing adventures with us. Seeing the fairy penguins at Phillip Island was a highlight of our time together.

We have stayed in contact through social media texts over the years. This is where she has expressed her heart felt sympathy to me during my own dark times when my mother and husband passed away. I last had a pleasant chat with Mary on a video call at my daughter’s house at Christmas.

My thoughts are with Mary’s family during this difficult time, especially my son in law Ollie.
I pray that the many memories he and his siblings have will bring them some needed comfort in the difficult days ahead. I know Mary will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mary’s untimely passing. We send our heartfelt condolences to you Martin, your children, your grandchildren and all of yours and Mary’s extended family at this devastating time.

Martin, you are a true gent. Someone who has made regular appearances at our house ever since I can remember and who is very recent times has been a great support to Dad during our own time of loss.

David and I only got the chance to meet the lovely Mary, less than 18 months ago, at Mam and Dad’s 45th Wedding Anniversary celebration. However, it was very clear to us both from that one meeting, what an absolute lady Mary was.

It was very apparent that Mary was very devoted to her family and held such adoration and pride for you all by the way in which is spoke so glowingly about you all.

Hopefully, reminiscing on all of the lovely memories of times gone by with her and the beautiful life that you shared with Mary will bring you all some comfort in the coming days, weeks, months and years, as you grieve her profound loss.

She will be greatly missed by you all and everyone who was lucky to have had her in their lives.
