Michael & Tom, so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. They were such a lovely couple and always a joy to meet and chat with. I'm sure they are happy together now again.

Mary was a lady and Jim was one of nature's true gentlemen. I first met Jim many years ago when we were both travelling to Dublin by train where we had many lovely chats.
In the later years, I would meet Jim and Mary together in Kilkenny, they would always be generous with their time and interested to get updates on my 3 kids. They were a joy to meet and chat with.
Mary is now reunited with Jim. May their gentle souls rest in peace.

Mrs Maher was my first teacher for 2 years in St Canices NS. The first and the best - she set the bar! I was very sad to hear of her passing but can smile with lots of lovely early school memories because of her kindness. Sincere condolences to her family.

Mrs. Maher taught me in first class in the old St. Canice's Boys School, (what is now the Fr. McGrath centre) in the mid-seventies. I have very fond memories of her to this day and I know my mother, Peggy Carey, who subsequently taught alongside Mary, always spoke very highly of her as a teacher and colleague. My sincere sympathies to your family, may she rest in peace.
