Sincere sympathy to all the family on the loss of your wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I hope some of her warm gentle and generous hospitality, which my family experienced over many years, filters through to the following generations. My last memory of Mr and Mrs Mahon together was 5 years ago. I was asked if I would like some lettuce for a gathering. I could have filled my car with the produce from their garden. I took a carrier bag full, which sufficed for the weekend.
