To the family of the lovely Mary Mahon, our sincerest condolences and sympathies are with you all at hearing the sad news of Mary’s passing.

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting her and her family in St. Joseph’s in UHG and have fond memories of the chats and laughs we had together. We are very saddened to hear that Mary has passed. Our prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.

Mary was a wonderful lady who was loved by all, my mother Kathleen Kerr nee Mahon in particular thought of Mary as a sister rather than sister in law. To Margaret and all the Leonard and Mahon families I was so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She taught me in Gortnor Abbey and was an excellent teacher. Her classes were a joy to attend and I am so grateful to have had such an exceptional Irish teacher. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
