It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Maime; may her gentle soul rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to her daughters, Mairéad, Sheila and Maura, to her sons Seán and Moss, and to all extended members of the McCarthy and Brosnan families.
Maime was such a gentle, kind and talented person, blessed with a faith-filled outlook on life. She always showed a remarkable welcome and hospitality to all visitors to the McCarthy home.
Maime, and her late husband, Jerry, both of whom were very devoted to each other, were great for visiting the sick and elderly. Certainly, Maime’s life was a life well-lived. She excelled in all kinds of homemade delicious baking, including confectionary and other specialities.
Maime, may you rest forever in the happiness and joy of God’s eternal home.
