So sorry to hear of the passing of dear Maisie, thinking of Anita, Pat and Grace at this very sad time.

Sincere sympathy to Anita, Pat and Grace on the passing of Anita's mam! As was said in the reflection/hymn this morning, she is now "more safe within thy hand than if a host should round me stand." Yes! She is now in the safe keeping of a compassionate and loving God. What a beautiful ceremony of farewell. There were signs of God everywhere ... the readings, the singing, the beautiful tributes paid by Pat and Grace, the caring ... We didn't know Maisie but she seems to have been a remarkable woman. May she rest in that peace that only God can give.
