Having watched the service this morning it’s easy to see how much Mary was loved, and clearly how much she will be missed. I’ve met Mary intermittently over 60 years now. Usually at weddings or when she and Brendan have been visiting my eldest brother Jack. Over that whole time I can only think of her as a smiling, genuinely warm person, who would treat everyone with kindness (as John mentioned this morning). Genuinely feel for Brendan and all of his family and I hope that the lovely memories of Mary are of a comfort to them in the years ahead.
