We are missing you so much already . Tears and more tears as we remember so many things , so many conversations, so much compassion and understanding which you gave throughout the years .
The hedgerow and wooden fence beyween our gardens will never be the same ....that place where we shared so much , the place where you kept an eye out for us and us for you , where we could simply shout each others names and we come to meet .
You were our friend , our confidante , our wonderful neighbour . There is no replacement for you .
We thank God for your life and love amongst us all .
Rest now in the peace and love that is beyond human understanding, where Jesus our saviour has gone before us , where glory beyond imagination abides .

We were saddened to hear of poor Mary’s death she will be sadly missed in the church and indeed the whole parish of Mell
She gave of her time so freely
and always with a smile
If something had to be done Mary was the go to person
I’m sure she is in Heaven
and will be looking down on Saturday making sure everything is ok

Mary a stalwart toiler for the community and a pillar of St. Josephs Parish and Church. Mary committed herself body and soul to everything she was connected too. From bingo to ballroom dancing to her work in the church she gave 100%

We’re so very sad to hear of Mary’s passing. She started out working for our Dad Dan McCullough in Maple Drive but over the years became a wonderful friend to our family. A kind and thoughtful person who was like a second mother to myself and Suzanne. I always admired her independence and determination. Rest in peace Mary, you were one of the best.

I happened to share a room with Mary on Newgrange Ward in Our lady of Lourdes hospital for over a week. We had lot of little chats over that time and I found her to be a woman of good faith. May Mary rest in eternal peace.

So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Mary was a huge part of our lives growing up, she lived in Coolkirk with my Aunt and cousins and worked in the local shop. A best friend to our Aunt Breige, fond memories of Mary, a great story teller, may she rest in peace and is guaranteed a seat in heaven 🙏 😇

My wonderful godmother Mary has just passed away, and my heart is full of memories.

I remember Mary and her mum, Nan, in Scotland when I was just a little girl. Mary later came to live with us in Coolkirk during my childhood and became such a huge part of our lives. She was deeply loved by Breige King and her four daughters, truly a cornerstone of our upbringing.

Some of my fondest memories are sitting by the fire with Mary as we said our novenas together, and every Sunday afternoon when Mary, my mum, and us 4 King girls would pile into the back of her little red Mini for a drive.

I have so many wonderful memories of this lovely lady. I know she’s in a better place now, happy and laughing with Aiden.

I first met Mary about 12 years ago when I joined aqua aerobics. She had her favourite corner in the pool and that was her place to exercise. She had a great sense of humour and during the summertime she would tell you how many days were left until Christmas.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace Mary 🙏

Guided by a profound faith, Mary was a champion for popular devotions and a steadfast advocate for the protection of life at every stage. Even as she bore her illness with remarkable courage, her dedication to the parish never wavered. Mary’s legacy is permanently woven into the fabric of Mell; may her example inspire our own faith and service. We trust that she is now interceding for us from Heaven, enjoying the eternal rewards of her fruitful labours.

Rest in peace Mary, I have many happy memories of you calling to our house in Sunhill when we were children. I used to love to hear your laugh as it was so infectious and when you brought us out for a spin in your little red mini across the hill of Almondstown or even better over the humpback bridge in Termonfeckin and the squeals of us in the back you used to laugh so hard. In later years Mary I would see you every morning on my way to work coming home from Mass and you delivering a newspaper to various neighbours in Trinity Gardens. Rest well Mary, I for one will miss you.
