So sorry to hear about Mrs Bryne's passing. She was so welcoming, every time I called a mug of tea was put in front of me. Although when she caught Austin and myself mitching from school she wasn't very welcoming. She may be gone from this world but her memory lives on through her family. Sleep well Mrs Byrne

My memories of working in Gateaux in the early 80's are all filled with the beautiful Maureen , who treated me like a son . She always looked out for me with loving advice and put me in my place, when my youthful arrogance got out of hand.
I can never drive down the Whitworth road, without the memories of the faithful evening in November 1986 , when her baby Austin was taken so suddenly.
I remember visiting the Richmond Hospital and been in complete awe of her strength and dignity in the face of such tragic circumstances.
She personified all the great things in an Irish Mother and I will be forever grateful for having known her and experiencing her kindness and love.

So sorry for the loss of your lovely Mam Maureen. I only met her while visiting my own Mam in the nursing home and I had a lot of lovely chats with her. Will miss seeing her. My thoughts are with you all.
