Ivan, Niamh, Laura we only became aware of your Mam’s passing this morning.
Ye have probably forgotten us. We lived at 29.
Her death comes so soon after Alacoque’s who was Laura’s God mother.
Leonard & Trevor & Hazel are reminiscing their fond memories of Maxi and your family and we offer our prayerful support.
I will be eternally grateful to Maxi and her professional skills for her medical assistance in 1979 after I was discharged from hospital.
Of course I remember the day Hazel & Niamh got lost!!!!

Sincere condolences to the Fitzgerald and McHugh families on the death of Mary. I will always remember Mary as a very caring person who was a great help to me at the time of her Uncle John Joe Crossans death here in Glebe St in 1987. May Mary's soul now rest in eternal peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Maxi’s passing. She was a wonderful friend to our family and a much-loved neighbour in Elmwood.
Maxi cared for everyone, always ready with her nursing skills and kindness, and she will be sorely missed by the whole neighbourhood. Please know you are in my thoughts at this sad time.

Thinking of you today, Ivan, Niamh and Laura. Your Mam, Maxie was such an integral part of Elmwood Drive, she will be so missed. I have lots of happy memories of running in and out of your house and eating the famous peas from their pods in the back garden, the many times we had to run to get Maxie when someone was sick or injured, including my Dad falling through a window! She always there for us, and most recently the fun we had on the Elmwood trip to Brussels.

An honour to have had your mam as a friend. She may have started as a colleague but through her amazing sense of humour and devilment at Ddoc we became firm friends. I'm so sorry for your loss, Heaven has gained a true angel xxx
