Deepest condolences to May's family on her recent passing. She was a lovely lady whom I had the pleasure of helping to look after for a number of years. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

After years of chatting to May over the phone and dropping bags of wool to Martin the butcher to deliver to her, we became great friends and no one could believe when they'd hear us on the phone that we'd never met. I finally got to visit her at her home last year. I'm so sorry to hear that May has passed. I'll miss our chats.

Paul and James, your mam spoke often of you both and I know you will miss her so much. My condolences to you and all May's family.

My darling, darling May. One of the most beautiful souls i have ever known. My world was so much better for having known you my gorgeous friend. You had so much kindness and goodness within you but also so much strength and belief in whats right and fair for everyone. Your love for Joe, Paul and James, also your grandchildren was so huge. You loved your boys so very much and they loved you equally in return. I will always remember our beautiful lunch in the Royal Hotel in Dunlaoire (thank you Paul x). May was an absolute lady who had a heart of gold and immediately had an impact on everyone she met. I will forever treasure all of the beautiful blankets and cardigans she knit for my three babies.
