Kay, Brenda and family. We are so very sorry to hear the news about May. She was such a special friend and longtime bridge partner to my Mammy, Maureen Scanlan.

So many memories of May arriving in her Micra to collect Mammy for local games on Monday & Thursday nights. Then heading away with Clare and Margaret to their annual tournament weekends in Wexford and Donegal. We called them the Fab Four…..

Bridge was my Mammy’s world and I will always be grateful to May for her kindness and friendship.

May was a keen and talented Bridge player, and a loyal member of our club. Prior to the formation of SABC May was treasurer of the Holmpatrick club for many years. She always had the best interest of the club at heart and made a tremendous contribution to our club. May will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
